We Call Her Nana.

We call her Nana, the one who plans

to give us hugs and hold our hands. 

She loves to cook and we love to eat,

sometimes savory, sometimes sweet.

We call her Nana, the one whose smile,

lifts us up, where we stay a while.

She loves the beach, the waves, the sun;

It’s there she teaches us how to have fun.

She is our Nana, and we hope she knows,

how much we love her, and how much that love grows.
