“American Village”
This is really a love story. I loved this job. And the more I immersed myself, the deeper the love got. We dressed up a lot and pretended to be different characters. I could be anything I wanted to be. We wrote stories, skits and games. We had theme nights. I was 22 and my spirit was creating things. I felt so free. I didn’t and still do not speak French, but exuberance translated. No phones, tv’s, computers or screens. Just pure French countryside and a blank canvas for ideas.
