Camping

I’ve always wanted to be the type of person who loves camping and all things outdoors; I love sunshine and being around water. I like the chill of kayaking and the thrill of white water rafting. I find solace in bobbing along in the ocean waves. I could spend hours star gazing. I am comforted, deeply, by the feel, sight and smell of campfires. I don’t mind getting dirty or eating fire cooked food. And, connecting with nature, sans the world wide webs of our current habitat, is the fastest route to my inner eye. But the truth is at the end of the day, I want to shower, to have a toilet, to not be around bugs and to definitely be in my own bed. My name is Leah and I am a fair-weather camper, literally.
